i was referred to you guys at the possibility you may be able to tackle a task for me. ive got a VZ52 rifle in 762×45 that is obsolete and would like a complete new barrel in 762X39 or even 6.5 grendel. Everyone ive spoke with (master gunsmiths and barrel makers) keep pushing me away to others that do the same.Turn me down. I want everything new for the most part for this custom build. 20 inch barrel, 1:10 to 1:14 twist, stainless steel match grade barrel with a 5/8×24 threaded muzzel. I hope this is something you guys would be interested in tackling for me. If not please inform me who might be able to or please let me know why everyone who makes barrels wont make this one as im an amateur and am curious as to why nobody wants to touch it. Hope you guys have a great and successful day. Thanks again

I’m checking with my lead gunsmith on this before I can give you an answer to your question. I should be able to get back to you shortly.

I spoke with my lead gunsmith and he stated that this was something that he would not be comfortable with doing. He suggested contacting one of our customers Accuracy Systems in Colorado.

Carl “Billy” Morrison, a well- known gunsmith from Bradford Maine, recently passed away. Billy made custom barrels and sold them all over the world. His estate is being handled by his son-in-law, Brent Gary. Included in his estate are 2 large Pratt and Whitney barrel machines. If you are interested in these machines, please contact me or Brent. I’m helping Brent because he doesn’t have a computer. I can send pictures upon request.
    Thank you – Bruce Boisvert
