Today Sunday May 6th was my first day on the range with my new McGowan barrel. I have lots a buddies that have bought many other brands of barrels, To there amazement and mine, the McGowan barrel while “breaking in” was shooting sub 1/2″ groups with NO load development. My barrel is a 29″ remage, chromoly 7mm RM with 5×9 rifling. I used my old loads from a stock Rem 700 Sendero and used that with new brass. The barrel has so far exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to get load development on the way, I can only imagine it’s going to get better. THANKS to the whole crew of people that worked on my barrel. You all did a great job!!!!
